Lisa was one of the first outstanding female athletes in the early days of organized women's basketball at LaSalle. Her honors include: Metro Scoring Leader (32.2 ppg. avg.) 1974-75, All Metro First Team 1974-75, and 1975-76, All State Honorable Mention 1974-75, and State Freethrow Runner-up in 1976. In 1975-76 she scored 845 points and helped lead the Lancers to the first ECIC Girls' Championship with an 8-0 record. Lisa was voted "Female Athlete of the Year" after both her junior and senior year. The basketball team had a record of 38-17 during those two seasons. Lisa was also a homecoming queen finalist in 1975, and a member of the National Honor Society. Lisa thanks her LaSalle coaches Jim Busta and Dave Close who, "had that special coaching quality that seemed to draw the best out of the team, while stressing to have fun."
