Christopher Drahozal is a 1979 graduate of Regis High School. He graduated with a BA degree summa cum laude from Washington University in St. Louis in 1983. In 1986, Chris graduated from the University of Iowa College of Law with highest honors. He and his wife, Kaye, are the parents of Stephanie, Matthew and Julia. Chris has been a Professor of Law at the University of Kansas School of Law since 1994. His prior employment included: private practice in Washington DC; Law Clerk for Justice Byron R. White, United States Supreme Court; and Law Clerk for George H. Aldrich, Iran-United States Claims Tribunal, The Hague, The Netherlands. Chris has published eight books and more than forty articles on legal topics, and has made numerous presentations throughout the U.S. and other countries. He is the recipient of the 2004 Immel Award for Teaching Excellence at KU Law School.
