Dacey Waldron graduated from LaSalle High School in 1992 as class valedictorian. She was the first LaSalle girls basketball player to score 1000 points and was named Honorable Mention All-State. Dacey earned a BA degree in Anthropology from Grinnell College in 1996 and an MA degree in Health Promotion from the University of Iowa in 1998. Her basketball honors while attending Grinnell include Female Freshman Athlete of the Year, three-time All-Conference, Midwest Conference Scoring Leader, 4th All –time Leading Scorer at Grinnell, and Outstanding Two-Sport Female Athlete at Grinnell. Dacey then moved on to become a Health/Fitness Specialist at Mercy Fitness Center and Mercy Acceleration. She also volunteers at St. Jude Parish as Spiritual Growth Committee member, Lector, Eucharistic Minister, confirmation small group leader, and Youth Group volunteer.
